Why would someone who hails from the most privileged demographic in the history of human civilization – the white, middle-aged male – choose to write a funny novel about feminism? Author Terry Fallis traces the roots of his latest novel, Poles Apart, including his own feminist awakening while studying engineering at McMaster in the 1980s and in the national student movement.
